What the afternoon is like
Daylight, music down, room to talk.
In the afternoon the music is at a level where a table of
eight can hear each other, the booths are free, and the bar
is not three deep. It is the version of the room most people
who work in the City will actually use.
Plug sockets by the booths, bar snacks and sharing plates
from the kitchen, and a team who will not rush you out. From
about seven on a Friday it starts to turn, by nine it is a
different place entirely, and it stays that way until four
in the morning.
- Open from midday, Tuesday to Saturday — to eleven Tuesday to Thursday, to four in the morning on Friday and Saturday, and shut to the public on Monday and Sunday
- Walk in, or book a table for a group — both work in the day
- Bar snacks and platters, plus coffee if the round has not started yet
- Big tables for team lunches and leaving drinks
- Daytime private hire on any day of the week
