Cabo London

Privacy Policy

This explains what Cabo London does with your information. Cabo London is the data controller for everything described here. If you want something corrected or deleted, email hello@cabolondon.com.

What we collect

  • Bookings. Your name, email, phone number, party size and any notes you give us — allergies, a birthday, access needs.
  • Private hire enquiries. What you send us on the enquiry form or by email, so we can quote and plan the event.
  • Payments. Deposits and bills are processed by Stripe. We see the amount, the date and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store the card number.
  • On the door. Where ID is scanned, we keep the minimum the licence requires and no copies of your document.
  • CCTV. Cameras cover the public areas of the venue for the safety of guests and staff.
  • The website. Standard server logs, and analytics or advertising cookies only where you have agreed to them.

Why we hold it

To run your booking or event, to take payment, to meet our obligations as a licensed premises, and to keep the accounting records we are required to keep. Marketing only goes to people who have asked for it.

How long

  • Booking and enquiry records: six years, for accounting and dispute purposes.
  • CCTV: 31 days, unless an incident means a clip has to be kept longer or handed to the police.
  • Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe, which every message lets you do in one click.

Who else sees it

Our booking system, our email provider and Stripe, each only with what they need to do their job. The police or licensing authority where we are legally required to disclose. We do not sell your details to anyone.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to marketing at any time. Email hello@cabolondon.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
